Winyard's Gap
Historic Pub
Winyard's Gap Inn is a historic property that has stood on this site for over 300 years overlooking the glorious Dorset and Somerset hills. As far as we know, the inn has always been a public house, but has gone by various names over the years, including The Three Horseshoes. It's current name comes from a General Winyard who blasted his way through the area in order to move heavy artillery, hence Winyard's Gap.
