Lovely room and restaurant Brilliant find - food excellent - room really good lovely quiet location with good views - shame the weather was not better as sitting outside would have been a treat! Staff really nice too looked after us...
Very friendly place. Popped in while out for a drive to blow the cobwebs away. Could not have found a better place to stop. It was easy to parkand the signs were easy to follow. We saw several people sitting outside having a drink so we decided to go in. The barman was very helpful and showed us where we could sit. They deserve to pull through this difficult time.We onnly came in for a drink and were not intending to stop over.

Perfect weekend away We stayed here this weekend and we were greated with a warm and friendly welcome, covid standards were excellent and everything was spotless and done to a high standard. The staff and owners all went out of their way to make sure we had a good stay, the food was amazing and the rooms were lovely and clean, beds were super comfy! We couldn't fault the place at all and can't wait to visit again! Thank you for making our weekend a memorable one!
If you don't stay here for a night you are missing out! The location was perfect, extensive views of Dorset, large car park and nearby footpaths for walks. We were travelling down to Cornwall so used the Inn as a half way stop, which worked out perfectly. The room was spotless, nice and warm, modern and very comfortable. The bathroom was large with a big walk in shower. The rooms are separate from the Inn, so very peaceful and quiet. The Inn was once again very tastefully decorated with real attention to detail, mixing some modern with all the original features of an old Inn. The staff had really taken all the new restrictions for Covid 19 seriously and it felt very safe and clean. we had an evening meal which was delicious and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was extra (9.95 each) and worth every penny, we had pastries, coffee, tea and toast with a full English which included fresh mushrooms and black pudding, a perfect start to our journey down to Cornwall.

A dog friendly gem! Dropped by on a windy and wet lunchtime. The COVID rules are sensible and easily covered, landlord friendly and menu interesting. The pub itself is a little more contemporary than the usual Dorset rural pub, however it very comfortable. Wife had a cauliflower and paprika soup, clearly not from a packet and declared delicious . Very dog friendly.

Lunch with friends Had a lovely meal here today, The £10 2 course lunch menu great value, It was very wet so sat inside ,felt at ease as all COVID 19 precautions in place, Staff very friendly , good espresso coffee ( and puds ) Thank you,
A perfect few days away Like so many people we were apprehensive about venturing away from home but knew that Wynyard's Gap Inn run by owners Toby and Michele would be perfect place to start. The location is perfect set in beautiful countryside with lots of outside dinning with far reaching views, however inside the pub has been well organised for social distance dinning and as the weather was cool this was most welcome. The accommodation is separate from the pub and is of a very high standard for comfort and cleanliness. We ate in the pub both evenings, they do have a smaller than usual menu but we had plenty of choice and we enjoyed all our meals including the huge breakfast. The pub did close at 8pm at the time of visiting but were were aware of this and it wasn't a problem. Toby and Michelle have understood the restrictions they are now faced with, as visitors this only reassured us. We loved our mini holiday and will certainly be returning.
Excellent Our room was lovely - comfy bed, very clean, and everything we needed. Dinner in the pub was delicious. A surprising variety of dishes, including a number of vegetarian options, and yummy. Staff friendly and Heidi gorgeous.
